Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese is, and will always be, made right here on Gunn’s Hill Road. We are a specialty cheese maker with deep roots in Oxford County. The cheese operation is a natural extension of our family’s dairy farm, which is located right next door and which is the exclusive milk provider. We welcome you to come see our operation in person. This cheese is truly unlike any other cheese. The cheese maker, Shep Ysselstein, has invested the time necessary to truly understand the intricacies of quality cheese making. He has been properly trained in numerous cheese operations and spent time in the most prestigious cheese-making nation in the world – Switzerland – where he further refined his craft.
